Unhappy with voting against balanced budget

Sens. Murray and Cantwell and Reps. DelBene and Larsen all voted with the rest of the Democats against a balanced budget. Oh, touting that raising taxes and domestic spending increases as “an investment in America’s future.” What?

How can this be when today we spend $430 billion per year on the interest payment on our national debt of over $18 trillion (and that’s at todays rate of 2.5 percent.

That is money not being spent on roads, bridges, education, defense, etc.
