Larry Helm is running for reelection to the Whatcom Conservation District board. He has already served three years, and I believe we need him to continue the work he is doing. He has a thorough understanding of farm practices as well as environmental impacts and solutions. He is currently a member of the Farm Bureau, the Whatcom County Cattlemen’s Association, and a five-year board member of the Whatcom County Agricultural Advisory Committee. He is also overseer of the five-county Grange – Pomona.
To vote in person on March 10, go to the Whatcom Conservation office, 6975 Hannegan Road (cross street is Pole Road), from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Let’s keep our best people working with us and for us.
