Worried about increased gun ownership in U.S.

The United States has a larger military budget than China, Russia, U.K., Japan, France, Saudi Arabia, India, Germany, Italy and Brazil, combined! Every time we perceive a problem in the world I believe the hawks in America insist that we go fight, rather than use diplomacy (that’s for sissies and girls). On a local level, the police, who are there “to serve and protect” us often seem to shoot first and ask questions later. Gang members first objective is to “get a gun, ‘cause then they got respect”. The NRA says that to reduce gun violence we should arm more people. More people than ever are now buying guns, because it makes them feel safer. Gun violence in America kills more people per capita than any other civilized country on earth. A recent president from Texas seemed to perpetuate and encourage this wild west mentality and now we’ve elected a majority to Congress who are in lock step with the military-industrial complex.

What’s wrong with this picture?
