Supports alternative high school exams

I loved the article on Bruce Irvin, but as a GED teacher, I have to ask what would have happened to him today? The new GED test that started in 2014 is so difficult, that states are seeing a 75 percent to 90 percent decline in completers. Our Superbowl champion may never have been eligible for college, and therefore never discovered by the Seahawks if he had tried the test today. Would he have been in jail or dead? And how is this new test serving our future Irvings?

Take a look at the new GED and ask your State Legislators to accept alternative high school equivalency exams. Something needs to change!
