Backs Fleetwood to fund state education

As an education advocate for over 20 years, I know that gridlock in Olympia hurts our kids and their futures. The state supreme court recently found that public schools were so badly underfunded that the legislature was failing it’s constitutional responsibility. The court ordered the legislature to fully fund education, and has even threatened to hold them in contempt. Instead of focusing on the most important solutions, like reducing class sizes, I believe Republicans have attacked teachers and argued about whether the state Supreme Court has authority to make them fix the problem. It’s time for a change in Olympia. Join me in voting for Seth Fleetwood for State Senate this November.
