Says stopping terminal won’t stop coal export

I find it fascinating to see the apparently conscious decision to ignore facts concerning the proposed coal port. Coal trains have been running through Bellingham for several years on their way to British Columbia. There is no reason to think they will stop, irrespective of whether there is a terminal at Cherry Point. Canada is not going to stop exports. The only issue is whether there will be a benefit to Whatcom County in jobs and tax base. All the rest of the argument is just noise.
