NSA controversy offers fodder for thought

Congress approved of the National Security Agency’s sift through phone records to prevent another terrorist attack on the United States. But did it? Why are some senators who supported the National Security Agency’s search of phone records also opposing background checks for the purchase of firearms? Is the NSA spying on China? Is the young NSA contractor who exposed the NSA program a hero or a traitor, or something else? If you already gave most of your personal information to the world through the Internet, for eternity, why does the NSA program bother you? So many questions. So many cartoon opportunities.
