Parts of Kessler Boulevard to close Wednesday, Thursday

Parts of Kessler Boulevard East are scheduled to be closed this week for tree removal, according to a Longview city notice.

Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Previously, the work was set to begin on Tuesday.

Crews plan to close 250 feet from the 15th Avenue intersection, across from the AM/PM gas station.

To avoid delays, city leaders suggests using different routes.
