Death of Sedro-Woolley man ruled a homicide

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Friday that the cause of death of a Sedro-Woolley man whose body was found April 2 on Warm Beach near Stanwood is homicide.

Carlos Reyes-Rodriguez, 47, was reported missing to Sedro-Woolley police by his family on Feb. 22 after reportedly not being seen for two days, said Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Shari Ireton.

Because his body was found in Snohomish County, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.

Reyes-Rodriguez’s vehicle was located March 7 in SeaTac by the SeaTac Police Department, Ireton said.

Anyone with information about Reyes-Rodriguez or his disappearance is asked to call the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office at 425-388-3845.
