Iggy Azalea is still doing the Puyallup.
The Australian rapper announced Friday via Twitter that she was canceling the Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour for a second time, saying that she’s “so sad and sorry to let my fans down.”
However, the Grammy nominee added that she’s still committed to her upcoming festival performances, including Sept. 22 at the Washington State Fair and Events Center’s Grandstand as part of the fair’s Columbia Bank Concert Series.
“The cancellations don’t include Pittsburgh Pride, Ottawa Bluesfest, Québec Summer Festival, or Washington State Fair. Still coming to those!” she tweeted Friday.
Azalea announced in March that the Great Escape Tour would not kick off in April. She rescheduled the tour due to production delays and said it would take place in the fall.
Representatives from Azalea’s record label, Def Jam, and tour promoter, AEG, didn’t return emails to The Associated Press seeking comment. Azalea didn’t offer any details about the second cancellation. She tweeted that she’ll “be back out on the road when the next album is done.”
Azalea reached No. 1 in the U.S. and Canada in 2014 with the pop single “Fancy,” which featured British artist Charli XCX. Her most recent single is “Pretty Girls” with Britney Spears.
The Washington State Fair runs from Sept. 11-27. Other featured concert artists include “Weird Al” Yankovic (Sept. 14), Heart (Sept. 15), Keith Urban (Sept. 19), Patti LaBelle with the Tacoma Symphony (Sept. 21), Jake Owen (Sept. 24), Jason Derulo (Sept. 26) and Pitbull (Sept. 27).
