Two women were injured in a two-car crash just before 11 a.m. Saturday on westbound state Route 12 in Lewis County, according to the Washington State Patrol.
According to a press memo from the agency:
A 62-year-old Mossyrock woman was driving a 2012 Buick Verano on state Route 12 near milepost 76, about five miles west of Mossyrock, when she rear-ended a 1998 Honda Accord that was stopped for a left turn.
The Buick’s driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt; she was transported with injuries to Morton General Hospital.

The driver of the Honda, a 38-year-old Onalaska woman, was wearing a seatbelt. She sustained injuries, but was not transported to the hospital.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene. The Buick’s driver is suspected of driving too fast for conditions, according to the state patrol.
