Five employees of a Kent company were sent to local hospitals Monday after possible exposure to an airborne chemical.
Firefighters were called to the business in the 19800 block of 84th Avenue South just after 9 a.m. because several employees complained of feeling dizzy and breathless.
A hazardous materials team checked the business but was unable to determine what, if any, chemical the employees had been exposed to.
The business will continue to investigate and determine what was happening in the area prior to the employees’ reactions.
