A day after the general election, Democratic incumbent U.S. Rep. Suzan DelBene held her lead against Republican Pedro Celis in their contest for a seat in the U.S. House.
Updated counts released Wednesday evening, Nov. 5 put DelBene with about 54.54 percent of the vote in the 1st District, while Celis had 45.46 percent.
That was only a 0.21 percent change for each candidate from Tuesday night’s early results, with Celis gaining a small portion of votes.
Counts will continue to come in throughout the next several days, and election results will be certified before the end of the month.
