A Bellingham woman suffered injuries in a rollover crash late Sunday, July 17, when she swerved to avoid debris on a highway in Eastern Washington.
Alexandra E. Yee, 27, was driving a Toyota Corolla about five miles north of Connell on U.S. Route 395 when debris in the road blocked her path around 10:50 p.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.
Yee swerved and lost control of the car, troopers said. The Toyota rolled and Yee suffered injuries that needed treatment at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Her injuries were relatively minor, said Trooper Chris Thorson.
Thorson didn’t know what kind of debris had been in the road.
