SUDDEN VALLEY - A 10-year-old boy died at Harborview Medical Center Tuesday evening, Jan. 10, from injuries he suffered during an apparent accidental hanging at his home in Sudden Valley the day before.
Caleb Kors, a budding street and circus performer who often busked at the Bellingham Farmers Market, was airlifted to the Seattle hospital Monday after he was injured at the family's home on North Summit Drive.
Kors, under his stage name "Flip," performed acrobatics and juggling tricks with the Bellingham Circus Guild.
Kors, who had a penchant for building his own props, may have been rehearsing on or tinkering with a circus prop inside the home when the accident occurred, said Whatcom County Sheriff Bill Elfo.

The final determination of the cause of death will be made by a medical examiner.
Students at Geneva Elementary School, where Kors was a fifth-grader, were told of the death in small groups Wednesday. Parents were informed the night before via telephone, school officials said.
Grief counselors were at the school and available to talk with students.
Those who wish to make donations to the family can visit calebkors.chipin.com/caleb-kors, said Bellingham School District spokeswoman Tanya Rowe.
