Counseling offered in wake of Bellingham High teacher’s death

Grief counselors will be at Bellingham High School on Monday, July 11, to help those affected by the recent sudden death of teacher Margie Freeman.

A grief support session is planned from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Monday at the high school, 2020 Cornwall Ave. Freeman taught freshman English. She died June 26.

School officials said in a statement that mourners can bring a single flower that will be added to a vase for the Freeman family.

Bellingham High Principal Linda Miller said those affected by Freeman’s death also can call the school at 360-676-6575 if they need additional support.
