Vote online through April 25 for Children’s Choice Book Awards

Fans of children’s literature have through this weekend to vote online in the annual Children’s Choice Book Awards, the only major literary award for children’s and teen writers chosen by readers.

Vote through Monday, April 25, at ccbookawards.com for finalists in one of seven categories, from kindergarten to teen, and also pick a Book of the Year and help choose the awards for illustrator and debut author.

Winners will be announced during the 97th Children’s Book Week (May 2-8), which is part of the nonprofit Every Child A Reader project.

A downloadable bookmark and poster are available at the bookweekonline.com home page. The bookmark was designed this year by Cece Bell, whose “El Deafo” graphic novel won a Newbery Honor in 2015.
