Church Road will be closed starting Monday, April 13, while crews pave a top layer of asphalt.
The road will be closed from April 13 to April 21, unless poor weather conditions force the closure time to be extended, according to the city.
The closure represents the final stage of a $5 million reconstruction job that closed the road from Main Street to Heather Drive for eight months in 2014. The road, now wider, reopened in December with added sidewalks on both sides and with LED streetlights.
Workers will finish the job by grinding, paving and raising iron structures, such as valve boxes and manholes, to match the new surface height and lane striping. Detour routes will be posted.
