“The Realities of Advanced Medical Interventions” will be the focus of a Wednesday, Feb. 25, presentation at Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center.
The free event is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 13 Prospect St., Suite 201, in Bellingham. It is open to the public.
Two experienced intensive care nurses will discuss what advance medical interventions mean to patients and their families.
They also will talk about actual outcomes for patients for the short- and long-term, organizers said. Participants will learn about CPR, mechanical ventilation, dialysis and medicine to support blood pressure.
