Western Washington University has produced the highest number of Peace Corps volunteers of any college of its size for the third year in a row, according to the organization’s 2015 rankings.
There are 47 WWU alumni currently serving as Peace Corps volunteers worldwide, the highest number for any college or university with between 5,000 and 15,000 undergraduates in the country.
The top schools in two other categories also are from Washington state: The University of Washington took the top spot for colleges with more than 15,000 undergraduates, and Gonzaga University led the list for colleges with fewer than 5,000 undergraduates.
This is the second time the top colleges from all three categories were from Washington.
