That beat the Feb. 17 record of 58 degrees, last reached in 1996, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures over the last few days have been about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.
Monday’s warm afternoon fell 1 degree shy of the record of 59 for Feb. 16. Sunday’s temperature reached 55, far shy of the daily record of 62.
Rain is expected to return Wednesday afternoon into Thursday before skies clear for a sunny weekend with highs in the low 50s.
