WWU assistant professor to give talk on running-related injuries

A Western Washington University assistant professor will discuss factors that can contribute to running-related injuries in a talk Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Jun San Juan, an assistant professor of kinesiology and a certified athletic trainer, focuses his research on injury prevention and rehabilitation. His free, public talk entitled “Born to Run? Biomechanical Factors of Running Injuries” will go from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Bellingham City Council Chambers, 210 Lottie St.

The talk is co-sponsored by the city of Bellingham. Audience questions will be welcomed. The lecture will be shown on BTV 10, the city’s cable channel.
