Whatcom County students will compete Saturday, Jan. 24, in the second annual Constitutional Knowledge Bowl, put on by the Whatcom Tea Party.
The event, which people are welcome to come watch, includes spontaneous essays, lightning-round questions and prepared speeches. Students compete for cash and prizes.
Doors open at 1:15 p.m. at the Rome Grange, 2821 Mount Baker Highway, with the program starting at 2 p.m. Awards are handed out at 5 p.m.
