Windward High School is seeking local people to share their experience serving the country for the school’s 2014-15 oral history project.
This year’s project will focus on experiences of anyone who has served for the U.S. in some way, including those in the armed forces, government workers, and volunteers for the Peace Corps or American Red Cross.
Interviews will be conducted by students on Dec. 17 from 8:15 to 10:15 a.m at Windward High School in Ferndale. Approximately 85 students are involved in the project, teacher Melissa Engels said.
This will be the sixth edition of the oral history project, and it is expected to be published during winter quarter of this school year.
