A tree fell on power lines on Chuckanut Drive at Hiline Road just after 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, and knocked out power in the area, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The northbound lane of Chuckanut Drive was closed, and crews alternated traffic in the southbound lane Friday morning, said WSDOT spokesman Greg Phipps. Four power poles were damaged. No cars were involved, he said.
The northbound lane reopened about 12:40 p.m.
Puget Sound Energy reported about 200 customers lost power near the scene. Electricity was restored in the late afternoon.
