Lost among all the wind Thursday, Nov. 6, was that it was a record warm day.
The official temperature, as recorded at Bellingham International Airport, hit 63, tying the record high for Nov. 6, previously set in 1999.
That’s far from the record for all of November. Back on Nov. 7, 2001, temperatures in Bellingham hit 79 degrees, a number that’s considered hot even in July.
There’s no chance of breaking that, according to the forecast. Over the next several days, the National Weather Service is expecting highs in the low 50s and low temperatures in the 40s with dips into the upper 30s. The next rain is expected Sunday.
