Ken Fowler of Bellingham worked with ‘Ace of Spades’ jet pilots

Ken Fowler was a corporal in the Marines. He enlisted while he was a senior at Bellingham High School and went to boot camp at Camp Pendleton in California.

He did a tour in the Middle East on the USS Nassau, where he worked with the pilots of the AV-8B Harrier Squadron known as the “Ace of Spades.” When he wasn’t out on tour, he was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, in North Carolina.

After he was honorably discharged he moved back to Bellingham, where we are raising our two daughters.
