The nonprofit group Blue Skies for Children is collecting and donating cold weather items for children for its Winter Warm-Up program.
Families with children age 6 to 18 who are homeless, low-income or in foster care can schedule an appointment to receive new or gently used coats, hats, scarves and blankets for up to five children per family.
Collection is underway, and item distribution begins Monday, Nov. 3.
