People can comment on and learn about the master plan for Bellingham International Airport during a public meeting Thursday, Oct. 23.
The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Port of Bellingham’s Harbor Center Conference Room, 1801 Roeder Avenue.
A consultant will present some possible airport facility projects the port is considering for the future, and those who come to the meeting will be able to ask questions or make comments, Director of Aviation Dan Zenk said.
The comprehensive plan, as required by the Federal Aviation Administration, analyzes current and future development, activities, and facilities at the airport and surrounding property.

The plan, last updated in 2004, was originally slated to be updated by the end of 2012, but delays with FAA approvals and other parts of the process have bumped the estimated completion date to February 2015, Zenk said.
