The Airporter Shuttle has a new stop in Bellingham.
The company began service at its new office at 1204 Iowa St., near Wilson Toyota on Monday, Oct. 13. The shuttle previously had picked up and dropped off passengers at the McDonald’s restaurant at 112 S. Samish Way.
The Iowa Street space has several features, including an indoor waiting area, restrooms, food trucks during normal business hours, access to rental cars and overnight parking. The indoor waiting area is open 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. every day.
The new shuttle stop for those getting a ride to SeaTac airport is an opportunity to have an office space, which is better for the company and customers, said Joel Litwin, marketing coordinator for Airporter Shuttle/Bellair Charters. He added that the departure times are the same.

“We appreciate all the help McDonald’s provided while we were there (on Samish Way),” Litwin said.
The overnight parking will be $4 a day for Airporter customers. Parking reservations can be made with Airporter Shuttle. Last-minute parking will be handled on a space-available and time-available basis. The parking area will have security cameras as well as staff on site 18 hours a day to make sure the area is well monitored, said Richard Johnson, Airporter president.
The Airporter Shuttle is also making a change to its service at Bellingham International Airport. As of Monday, Oct. 27, the airport will be a reservation-only stop, meaning the shuttle will not stop there unless it has an advance reservation made by phone. The advance reservation for that location will not be available online.
Details about the shuttle, including information on making reservations, can be found at airporter.com or by calling 360-380-8800.
