“Living with Knee and Hip Pain” is the title of a free program in Bellingham on Thursday, Oct. 9.
The educational event is part of World Arthritis Day. Check-in is at 6 p.m. and the hour-long program begins at 6:30 p.m. at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center, 2901 Squalicum Parkway in Bellingham.
Participants will learn how to live a healthy life as well as connect with local resources that can help them take control of their arthritis.
Kevin Rupp, a doctor of physical therapy, will talk about treatment options for knee arthritis and hip pain that could prevent surgical intervention.
Hearing assisted devices are available upon request.
