People who want to attend Bellingham City Club’s Wednesday, Sept. 17, forum featuring state senate candidates Doug Ericksen and Seth Fleetwood should know that remaining space is limited.
Roughly 20-25 seats, some of which are not at tables, will be available for those who want to see the program at 12:20 p.m. at Northwood Hall, 3240 Northwest Ave. A few of those tickets are reserved for people who want to pay $15 (members) or $20 (non-members) at the door for the 11:30 a.m. lunch and stay for the program.
Republican incumbent Ericksen and Democratic challenger Fleetwood, who are facing off for the 42nd Legislative District seat, will answer questions from a moderator and club members during the hour-long forum.
Ericksen’s campaign has offered to pay the $5 program-only fee for anyone who wants to see the forum, regardless of party preference, in an effort to make the event free.
The campaign will station someone near the door to pay for people on a first-come, first-served basis until the space is at maximum occupancy.
