One of Bellingham’s largest employers has a new name.
Logos Bible Software is now known as Faithlife Corporation, with new signs going up on its downtown buildings in the coming weeks. The company remains under the same ownership.
CEO Bob Pritchett said in a blog post that the name change better reflects where the company is going. While Faithlife continues to produce software products, it has expanded into many other areas, including computer apps, websites and other digital content.
The Logos name will continue on its flagship product and can still be found at Logos.com. Users of the Logos product can find a variety of options to improve the study of the Bible, including the original text in Greek or Hebrew, other translations, timelines as well as photos and maps of historical sites.
Faithlife continues to add employees. Pritchett said Faithlife employs 449 people, with 419 working in downtown Bellingham. The 30 employees not in Bellingham are either in Tempe, Ariz., or are sales representatives in various cities.
The company arrived in downtown Bellingham 12 years ago from Oak Harbor with about 30 employees, occupying a modest space on Commercial Street.
