About 250 people raced through Whatcom Falls Park Saturday morning, Oct. 3, to raise money to end domestic violence.
The second annual Race for the End of Domestic Violence kicked off at Bloedel Donovan Park at 9:30 a.m. Participants could do a 10-kilometer run or a 5-kilometer walk.
Money was raised through pledges and goes to support Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services of Whatcom County.
Executive Director Karen Burke didn’t know how much was raised Saturday evening. Race results will be posted at dvsas.org.
