A major residential and commercial project on Bakerview Road will be introduced at an upcoming public meeting.

The proposed project would be built at 415-451 W. Bakerview Road, near the Bellis Fair entrance on Cordata Parkway. It will have 288 residential units in four buildings.

The project will also have three commercial buildings along Cordata Parkway totaling about 34,000 square feet. Along with parking, landscaping and pedestrian walkways will be built, according to the public meeting notice.

The meeting will be hosted by AVT Consulting. It starts at 6 p.m. on Feb. 27 at the Quality Inn’s Atlantis Room, 100 E. Kellogg Road.

Along with introducing the project, officials will take comments and answer questions. For information about the meeting, call Ali Taysi at 360-527-9445.

This is one of several projects in the planning stages at Bakerview Road and north Bellingham. Previous discussions with the city about the project near Bellis Fair had fewer residential units and more commercial space.
