The Ferndale Farmers Market will have its final event of the season Friday (Oct. 13) with a few extra activities.

The market runs from 3-7 p.m. at the Centennial Riverwalk Park at 1985 Main St. Along with the regular farm vendors, it will have a community pie contest, live music and candy giveaways, said June Polinder, a volunteer for the market.

The market will also have two food vendors: Juanita’s and Good to Go Meat Pies.

People can drop off their pie for the contest between 3-4 p.m. to have it judged. Prizes will be awarded to the winning entries.

The market will return in June 2018.
