Love board games and being outdoors? City officials have set up an oversized chess board and other backyard games like cornhole toss at Maritime Heritage Park this summer to encourage people to come to the downtown park on Holly Street.

The games, including an oversized version of Jenga, will be available in the park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting. In August, Music at Maritime concerts are scheduled in the park’s amphitheater.
