Major Canadian figure to talk monetary policy at Western

A key figure in shaping Canada’s monetary policy will give a presentation at Western Washington University.

Stephen Poloz, governor of the Bank of Canada, will talk about cross-border trade and monetary policy 4-5:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26. The event will be on campus in the Communication Facility building, room No. 115. The event is open to the public. Parking is available in the C and 12A parking lots for a $2 fee.

The presentation is part of the inaugural Paul Storer Memorial Lecture on Canada-U.S. Relations and is being organized by the Border Policy Research Institute.
