Bellingham Port of Subs to have ribbon cutting, fundraiser this week

The new Port of Subs restaurant in the Bakerview Fred Meyer shopping center is celebrating its grand opening with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, May 14 and a food drive fundraiser on Saturday, May 16.

The ribbon cutting starts at 4 p.m. on May 14. From 10 a.m to 2 p.m. on May 16, anyone who comes into the eatery and makes a donation of $5 or more to the Bellingham Food Bank will receive a free five-inch classic sandwich.

Port of Subs opened at this spot earlier this month. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
