Whole Foods considering low-price store concept

Here’s a (link) to an interesting ABC News article about Whole Foods introducing some lower-cost stores in 2016. The concept is in the early stages of planning, so it doesn’t say which cities will be getting these type of stores.

Bellingham is slated to get a Whole Foods store in the summer of 2016. Here’s a (link) to those details.

It’ll be interesting to see if Whole Foods selects Bellingham to test this new concept. According to the ABC News article, it appears the new concept will be geared toward a younger crowd, with plenty of new technology while offering lower prices than traditional Whole Foods stores.
