The Union Coffee Shop opens second Bellingham cafe
The Union Coffee Shop opened for business at 1203 N. State St. on Tuesday, April 22.
Co-owner Kim VanEpps they plan on starting out with fresh-baked pastries, soup and Tony’s coffee and will be expanding the menu as they get settled in. They are also planning to put in a bar and bar stools in the front window area and have already put in seating for the upper mezzanine area.
Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closing a little earlier on Sunday. They may stay open later during the summer months.
The Union’s first cafe is at the Crown Plaza building at 114 W. Magnolia St.
