Upcoming business events for new owners, job seekers

Here are a couple more business-related events, one for new business owners and one for job seekers:

To register, send an email to NBOWebinar@dor.wa.gov with your name, company name, phone number and email address. The deadline to register is Friday, April 17.

Participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, sales tax collection and record-keeping requirements. During the webinar, the speaker will answer specific questions related to your business.

Participating employers include: American Family Insurance, CampusPoint, CISabroad, Compass Health, Enterprise Holdings, Expeditors, FAST Enterprises, Fred Meyer, KeyBank, LiveAreaLabs, PACCAR, PBS Engineering and Environmental Inc., Peace Corps, Peak-Ryzex, Tyler Technologies, Washington State Department of Social and Health Services and Wells Fargo. There also will be a number of graduate schools attending.
