SaviBank, formerly Business Bank, and the chamber are hosting an open house at SaviBank’s Bellingham branch. The event will include food, catered by Hilltop Restaurant and Catering. Attendees can also win a “Savi Bellingham Summer” gift basket, which will include prizes like tickets to the Bellingham Bells, a Discover Pass to state parks and a gift certificate to San Juan Cruises.

•  10-11 a.m. Monday, April 20: Ribbon Cutting for Best Buds Collective Garden at

2518 Meridian St.

Best Buds will have free home-made southern barbeque and sweet tea for event attendees, as well as $2,000 in raffle prizes from local businesses, and specials for medical marijuana patients including root beer floats with medical marijuana-infused ice cream and root beer. An expert will also be on hand to answer questions and there will be opportunities to learn more about marijuana laws. The ribbon cutting is a celebration of Best Buds joining the chamber and welcoming it to the Bellingham business community. Only patients with medical marijuana authorization may purchase marijuana at Best Buds.

•  4-5 p.m. Monday, April 20: Ribbon Cutting for Green Leaf Recreational at

4220 Meridian St.
