The Woods Coffee to open its first Skagit County coffee shop in December

The Woods Coffee is getting ready to open its first Skagit County cafe.

The new Woods Coffee shop will be at 1626 Freeway Drive in Mount Vernon, near the West College Way exit off Interstate 5. It is scheduled to open sometime in December, according to a news release from the company.

This will be the company’s 15th coffee shop, with the rest in Whatcom County. Owner Wes Herman said he has been looking forward to expanding into Skagit County for a long time and that going through the process in Mount Vernon has been a great experience.
