-- According to its Facebook page, Wild Bird Chalet is moving to the corner of Ohio Street and Cornwall Avenue next week. The business is currently at 705 Kentucky St. and is currently having a moving sale.
-- Fred Meyer submitted building permits to expand its gas station on Lakeway Drive. I'll check on the details about what they are adding.
-- All American Hearing has closed its office at 208 Halleck St. (near Bellingham High School). Phone messages left at the corporate office were not immediately returned. The company has stores in Longview, Tacoma and Auburn.

UPDATE: All American Hearing did return a call and said that with the Bellingham closure, they are referring all local clients to Hearing Northwest at 1470 Ellis St. Here's a (link) to Hearing Northwest.
-- Electric Beet Juice Co., which recently signed a lease to operate at the Bellingham Public Market, is hosting a Crowdfunding Launch Party at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1.
The event will be held at Ciao Thyme at 207 Unity St. The business is seeking community support through a Kickstarter-like campaign called Small Knot.
Once the business is operating, co-owners Sara Southerland and Kara Marklin plan to serve breakfast and lunch items, including smoothies, salads, sandwiches and desserts.
