The Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington announced that Sommer Cronck, the current executive director, has accepted a position as chief operating officer at a Bellingham company.
Cronck will be going to Red Rokk, a digital media marketing firm. Her start date with Red Rokk will be Thursday, May 1.
"The entire TAG organization would like to sincerely congratulate and thank Sommer for the time she has spent with TAG, and the many changes and improvements she has made to our organization. Anyone that has worked with Sommer in the two years since she joined TAG knows that she is a very effective and creative executive," said Mark Knittel, owner of Ovation Technical Services and current board chair for TAG, in a news release.
"Her experience in technology, programming, marketing, and operations makes her a perfect fit for our team and will contribute to the acceleration of our company’s growth," said Tyler Byrd, CEO of Red Rokk, in the news release.

TAG also announced that a search for a replacement Executive Director will commence on Monday, April 7. Persons interested in submitting a resume will be able to find additional information on the TAG website at tagnw.org.
TAG is a non-profit organization based in Bellingham that was formed to address the needs of the technology industry in Whatcom County.
