Here's a news release from L&I on upcoming logging workshops:
TUMWATER – The Department of Labor & Industries will offer logging industry workshops in Everett, Mt. Vernon and Bellingham this week. The workshops are designed to help logging companies reduce injuries and keep down workers’ compensation rates.
The workshops will cover a range of topics, including safety, recordkeeping, liability, risk-management basics and other topics specific to logging.

-- Everett, Wednesday, Aug. 14, 1 to 4 p.m., at 729 100th St. SE
-- Mount Vernon, Thursday, Aug. 15 (two sessions), 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and 1 to 4 p.m., at 525 E. College Way, Suite H.
-- Bellingham, Friday, Aug. 16, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at 1720 Ellis St., Suite 200.
