The Woods Coffee will move into the Barkley Village Haggen, replacing the Starbucks in that spot, later this year.

Woods Coffee also announced Thursday, Feb. 12, that it would open a location next to the Burlington Costco, likely in mid-April. That store, at 1779 S. Burlington Blvd., will have a drive-through and indoor seating. It’s under construction.

“We have actually had our eyes on this spot for more than 10 years now,” said Wes Herman, Woods Coffee owner, in a press release. “Being next to Costco and in front of Panera Bread will make it convenient for those in Burlington to enjoy Woods Coffee.”

The Woods inside Barkley Haggen will open around May 1. It will be the second Woods location inside a Haggen; the coffee spot opened in the Sehome store in 2011.

The two new spots will give The Woods Coffee 17 total locations in Whatcom and Skagit counties.
