After years of volatility, new car sales in Whatcom County have remained stable in the second half of this year - but those sales remain below pre-recession numbers.
In other economic measures, second quarter retail sales in Whatcom County showed some growth, but it was well below the state average increase.
And while bankruptcies are up compared to September, the October numbers are well below last year's total.
