RoseMae Bork of Bellingham says these cookies are colorful, easy to assemble and children love to help make them. She says she makes two batches - one with green lime Jello and the other with red cherry or strawberry Jello.
CHRISTMAS COCONUT BALLS
1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 14-ounce package sweetened flaked coconut
2 3-ounce packages of Jello
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Mix together everything but 1/2 package of Jello.
Chill until you can roll it into little balls.
Mix reserved 1/2 package of Jello and 1 teaspoon of sugar.
Roll balls in reserved Jello/sugar mix.
Keep in a tightly covered container in cool spot.
